As a veteran storyteller working across a variety of mediums to explore the comically grim concept of creating meaning in a decaying world, I've built a life for myself as something of a professional bohemian. Be it as a writer, comedian, dramaturg, actor or a general extra set of hands, it's always been my great pleasure to throw whatever I can into a collaborative process that's bigger than myself.

My artistic philosophy can be summarized as a marriage between honesty and technique. You don’t hone your craft just to meticulously fret over the mechanics of performance while performing; instead, you prep diligently to allow yourself mental and emotional freedom in the heat of the moment, so reassured that your instrument is equipped and knowledgeable that you explore and innovate with complete spontaneity.

As a writer, I have a profound respect for the bigger picture and a keen awareness that every collaborator is helping to build something larger than their own experience and performance. As an actor, it’s my great joy to find ways to tailor my own exploration to fit the project that is being realized and the process of the creators that I’m working in service of. As just some guy, I like to turn off my brain and enjoy the experience of seeing a unique story unfolding in front of me.
